Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the application, installation, and use of grabEAT vending machines, provided by grabEAT AS. By applying for a vending machine, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

Application Process

Eligibility
The free vending machine offer is available for B2B customers only. grabEAT reserves the right to approve or reject any application based on factors
such as location, suitability, and estimated usage.

Application Review
All submitted applications will be reviewed by grabEAT. Approval of the application is subject to site inspection and business considerations. We may contact you for further details if required.

Customer Information
You agree that the information you provide during the application process is accurate and up-to-date. Providing false or misleading information may
result in the cancellation of your application.

Installation and Operation

Location and Installation Requirements
Approved customers must ensure the location for the vending machine meets the following criteria:

  • Sufficient space for the machine and access for installation.
  • Access to power, internet and water supply (as applicable).
  • Secured area for indoor machines
  • Compliance with any local regulations or building codes.

Installation Date
The installation date will be mutually agreed upon after approval of your application. Delays may occur due to machine availability, installation crew schedules, or other unforeseen factors.

 

Ownership
The vending machine remains the property of grabEAT at all times. You are responsible for ensuring it is used appropriately and is kept in good working order during its placement on your premises.

 

Operating Hours
The vending machine will operate during the hours mutually agreed upon at the time of installation. Any modifications to the operating hours must be communicated to grabEAT for system updates.

 

Customization Options

Meal & Beverage Selection
You may request tailored meal and beverage selections from the options offered by grabEAT. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, but availability may vary based on location and demand.

 

Branding and Features
If custom branding or additional features are selected, any associated costs will be discussed and agreed upon prior to installation.

 

Payment Systems
Payment systems, including contactless payments, mobile payments, and company-sponsored free usage, must be configured prior to installation. Any changes to the payment system after installation may incur additional setup costs.

Maintenance and Support

Maintenance Services
grabEAT is responsible for the regular maintenance of the vending machine, including restocking, repairs, and software updates. You agree to provide reasonable access for grabEAT’s technicians to perform these services.

 

Reporting Issues
You are required to report any operational issues or damage to the vending machine immediately. grabEAT will address issues as soon as possible to minimize disruption.

Financial Terms

Revenue Sharing
If applicable, revenue-sharing terms between grabEAT and the Customer will be outlined in a separate agreement.

 

Costs
While the vending machine itself is provided free of charge, any costs related to customization, branding, or special requirements will be disclosed in advance.

Termination

Termination by Customer
You may request the removal of the vending machine at any time with 30 days’ written notice to grabEAT.

Termination by grabEAT
grabEAT reserves the right to remove the vending machine from your premises if:

  • The machine is misused or damaged due to negligence.
  • There is a failure to meet the agreed-upon operating conditions.
  • The location no longer meets the business criteria for machine placement.

Machine Removal
Upon termination, grabEAT will arrange for the removal of the machine within 30 days. You agree to provide access for the removal team.

Liability and Indemnification

Liability
grabEAT will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of the vending machine, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, or profits.

 

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold grabEAT harmless from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the misuse or unauthorized operation of the vending machine.

Data Privacy

Customer Data
grabEAT collects certain personal data as part of the application and operation process. This data will be used solely for the purposes of providing and maintaining the vending machine service and will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

Customer Transaction Data
grabEAT may collect anonymized transaction data for the purpose of improving the vending machine service, product offerings, and user experience.

Changes to Terms

grabEAT reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to Customers and will take effect immediately upon posting on the grabEAT website and/or app.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
